On this day we will reach the visual zenith of this movement. We will experience a moment of dissolution of the stigma, shame and isolation associated with the marathon that is mental health management. We will look out on the creations of our Alaskan brothers and sisters and see a landscape of fearlessness and truth, made by the hands of hundreds. We will recognize its terrific power and beauty as something that has emerged from within each one of us. It is there in that moment that we will truly feel what this is all about--an authentic transformation of how we see ourselves and each other. Let the shift in attitude and approach toward those of us who suffer start with Us.
